TITLE: Scrapbook Floweret

DESCRIPTION: Create an element to use for your Digital Scrap booking

Before we start lets set up our PI

Open a new canvas 600x 600 pixels

User- defined 200 DPI see example on the right

Step 1

Select your path drawing tool/custom shapes select shape f102 any color you can change you color later

Step2

Click on the path edit tool, select free edit mode, drag each of the center nodes till you have something like the example Pull the outside nodes on each petal till they have a slight point.

Click out of edit mode

 

Step 3

Now you can fill with the color of your choice. I'm using hex #945059

Select your air brush and choice a lighter shade of your flower color I'm using hex #9D7F86

use these settings

shape round size 20 Trans-0 soft edge 50

Click in mode paint a few lines in each of your petals see example

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4

Select the burn tool use the settings in the example.

Now burn between the lines you draw previous, also burn around the center and on a few of the edges.You should have something that looks like mine.

Step 5

Select the dodge tool use settings in the example.

Go over the lines you drew. Now dodge the petals close to the edge

 

Step 6

Select the blur tool use settings shown. Be careful not to blur outside the petals.

If you do you can erase the extra.

 

Step 7

Duplicate your image flip horizontally

Select the top petal and add an all around shadow use the default

Select all merge as a single object

Step 8

Duplicate your flower and resize 50 % to 75 % Place in the center of the larger flower. Now you can add a texture if you like I used the Texterizer Filter with a canvas effect.

Last step Select the smaller floweret using the hue and saturation charge the color.

Brad Now go to your path tool and select the circle 3D round

These settings

Burn the brad just a bi t.. select all merge as a single object .. Save as png or ufo..
